Philosophy of Education
Based upon God’s word, the Bible, as the basis for all truth. Education begins with an understanding that man was made in God’s image, different from all other creations, with the unique capacity to know and respond to God personally and voluntarily. However, when man chose to sin, man broke the perfect relationship with God. Restoration of this relationship between God and man can only come by being born again through receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of his life; therefore, enabled to do God’s will, the ultimate purpose of his life.
The entire process of Christian education is seen as a means to bring the student into a relationship with God where the whole student is developed: spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially. Christian education appreciates the individual with his own unique abilities and personality while teaching him how to live and work with others as modeled by Christ. God commands that children be taught to love God and to love others. At the parent’s request, the Christian school, along with the church, becomes a partner in providing this Christian education.
Our History
Lee Christian School was created in 1994, to be a community school where students are intentionally challenged as learners and leaders who are Christ centered and service focused. From the beginning, the school has been committed to an education that integrates Biblical truth, academic rigor, and character formation, recognizing that true education shapes both the heart and the mind.
The school began with humble beginnings, grounded in prayer, purpose, and a belief that Christian education should challenge students not only in what to think, but in how to think. As the school community grew, so did the vision for a campus designed to support excellence in academics, discipleship, and community life. That vision continues to guide the growth and stewardship of the campus today.
Over time, Lee Christian School has intentionally expanded its programs, facilities, and resources to better serve students at every stage of development. Campus improvements have focused on strengthening academics, enriching spiritual life, and increasing service opportunities, while also modernizing instructional spaces, expanding technology integration, and ensuring safe and engaging environments that support meaningful learning.
Today, Lee Christian School remains firmly anchored in its mission, preparing students to grow as Christ centered learners and service focused leaders who are equipped with strong academic foundations, critical thinking skills, and a faith that is active and lived out daily.
